Application Timetable and Procedure

Any time of the year
  • Advice can be sought about potential projects
  • Submission of the completed application form, questionnaire, reference and letter of support from the partner institution to the Islamic Manuscript Association.
Immediately following application In the event of an application for emergency disaster response only, the Association’s executive committee may make a decision without waiting for the board to convene
At quarterly board meetings usually held in February, May, July, and October Review of applications by the Association’s board of directors and subject specialists.
Following the board meeting during which the application is reviewed
  • Notification of acceptance or rejection, or;
  • Possible recommendation of changes to the application by the Association’s board of directors and subject specialists.
  • Funds will be transferred as soon as signed Grant Acceptance forms and functioning bank details are received
  • Project begins
Next board meeting
  • Resubmissions of application, if changes were recommended
  • Notification of acceptance or rejection of resubmitted applications
  • Transfer of funds for successful applications as outlined above
One calendar year from transfer of funds Term of the grant project
Within three months of completing the grant project. Submission of grant report and summary of expenditure to the Association
