- I am interested in surveying Islamic manuscripts in very remote areas where there’s been no significant research and surveys so far as far as Islamic manuscripts are concerned. I have done a preliminary survey of the Ismaili manuscripts in Northern parts of Pakistan. My aim is to build on this preliminary survey and prepare a detailed description of the kinds of manuscripts that have been preserved in private and public collections. I am also interested in studying the history and tradition of Ismaili community in that part of the world.
