- Book conservation experience on several Islamic manuscripts, documents and firmans throughout my career as a book conservator at the British Library, the Monastery of St John Theologian Patmos (with Ottoman firmans) and as freelance conservator. Employed on occasions, since 2007 by the Thesaurus Islamicus Foundation for the conservation work and the training of staff at the Dar-al-Kutub, Cairo - Trainer and consultant for UNESCO run project in Najaf, Iraq on the preservation of Najaf Libraries .
