Director of the "Institut de recherche et d'histoire des textes" (IRHT, CNRS-Paris) from 2005 to 2010. Currently researcher attached to the team "Islam médiéval" of the "Orient et Méditerranée" laboratory (CNRS-UMR 8167). She has edited and/or translated extracts from several Arabic sources (Ayyubid and Mamluk period).
